Entertainment and People : LUCIANO CALLS ON JAH
Posted by admin on 04/03/2009 (1001 reads)

Luciano says he prays that the lord will give him strength to face another day.

At his press conference today at the Hilton Hotel in Kingston, the Jah Messenger reggae singer in the presence of his lawyer Delano Franklyn denied reports that he haboured a criminal.

Luciano adds that he will continue to cooperate with the police. The veteran entertainer also stressed that despite the situation, he has been advised by his lawyers that he will be able to fulfill his contractual show arrangements locally and internationally.

In closing, Luciano further states that he will prove his innocence.

All this is stemming from a deadly shootout which took place at the singer’s Westminster Crescent studio last Wednesday. Police stormed the complex in search of a man they say was wanted.

The man, Andrew Senior, was killed and three police officers injured during a reported shoot-out.

Luciano was charged Monday with harbouring a fugitive and is slated to appear in court on April 9.
